A composer’s studio for people who actually write music. You bring the melody, the harmony, the instinct you spent years earning. The AI does the part that used to need a budget, a label, and eleven other people.
Built by a working composer, on a network built for the Kingdom.
Most AI music tools are built for people who cannot write music. You type a sentence, a song appears, and it is the machine’s song. That is a fine parlour trick and a terrible instrument.
Dust Wave starts from the opposite premise: you already know what you want to hear. You can voice a chord, shape a line, feel where the key needs to turn. What you have never had is a full orchestra, an arranger, an art department and a publisher sitting in the room with you at eleven at night.
That is the part we are automating. Not the composing. The everything-after-the-composing.
Play it on your own keys and hand us the MIDI. Every note you wrote stays exactly where you put it — we do not “reinterpret” your work and hand back something you have to argue with.
Today a .mid file becomes a rendered audio bed, a readable score under the waveform, and a take you can build on — with the original MIDI still attached, still editable, still yours.
What is coming: an editable piano roll, per-track instruments you can swap and re-render, your own sampled instruments kept private to you and never shared or trained on, and a door for the generator you already built to drop straight in.
| 1 | You compose At your rig, in your DAW, on paper — however you already work. Hand over a MIDI file. |
| 2 | The studio arranges Instrumentation, rendering, alternate takes. You keep the score; you audition the results. |
| 3 | Liken Studio paints it Scenes, cast, a moving picture for the piece — made from the same scripture you are setting. |
| 4 | It publishes An edition anyone can open, listen to, and read along with. On your own domain, under your own name. |
Nephi told his people to liken all scripture unto themselves, so that it might be for their profit and learning. That instruction is the whole product.
Liken Studio already does that with pictures and story — put a real family into a real verse and watch a child recognise themselves in scripture. What it has never had is a composer.
So the halves fit: you write the music the verse deserves. Liken Studio gives it a world to live in — art direction, scenes, cast, the full production and the publishing rails underneath. Neither half is a novelty on its own. Together they are a scripture study you can hear.
Your imagination is the input. The AI is the multiplier. It is never the author.
Dust Wave was a musician’s name before anyone went looking for it in scripture. Then someone went looking.
And when you have been laid low, you will speak from the ground, your words uttering out of the dust… your sayings shall whisper out of the dust.
Isaiah 29:4 · Isaiah Institute Translation, Avraham Gileadi · isaiahexplained.com
The Book of Mormon applies that verse to itself. Nephi’s farewell: “I speak unto you as the voice of one crying from the dust” (2 Nephi 33:13). Moroni’s last page: “even as one speaking out of the dust” (Moroni 10:27).
A record buried in the ground, speaking. A whisper out of the dust that becomes a voice. That is a sound rising — which is the only thing a dust wave could possibly be.
Read the dust verses together and they are not scattered images. They are a sequence, and it ends in music.
| 26:18 | laid low — we have brought forth only wind. We have not wrought salvation in the earth |
| 29:4 | whisper from the ground — your sayings shall whisper out of the dust |
| 26:19 | awake — Awake, and sing for joy, you who abide in the dust: your dew is the dew of sunrise! |
| 52:2 | rise — Shake yourself free, rise from the dust; sit enthroned |
| 52:1 | clothed — Awake, arise; clothe yourself with power, O Zion! |
| 52:9 | sing — Break out all together into song, you ruined places of Jerusalem |
| 44:23 | resound — Sing, O heavens… cause it to resound, O earth beneath! |
Dust to throne, and the last step is a song. Isaiah 52 does the whole move inside one chapter: rise from the dust in verse 2, break out into song in verse 9.
This is the spine of the launch album, and it was not designed. It was found.
The chapter that issues the command to sing opens with a craftsman who makes a thing with his own instruments and then bows to it:
The woodworker draws a diagram, sketching his idol with a marker… From the rest they make a god, their idol, to which they bow in adoration and pray, Save us; you are our god!
Isaiah 44:13, 17 · Gileadi
They are followers of ashes… They cannot liberate themselves from them or say, Surely this thing in my hand is a fraud.
Isaiah 44:20 · Gileadi
That is the risk of generative tools, stated three thousand years early. You can make something with your own hands and lose the ability to tell whether anything is inside it.
Then the chapter turns — not away from making, toward it:
Ponder these things, O Jacob… for you are my servant… Return to me; I have redeemed you. Sing, O heavens, for what Jehovah has done; cause it to resound, O earth beneath! Burst into song, O mountains, forests, and all trees therein.
Isaiah 44:21–23 · Gileadi
Gileadi reads the imagery plainly: mountains, forests and trees denote nations, cities and peoples. The command is not issued to scenery. It is issued to people — which is to say, to a composer at a keyboard.
Same tool, opposite outcome. Make a thing and bow to it, and it is an idol you cannot see through. Make a thing and point it at the One who redeemed you, and it is the song you were commissioned to sing.
The first Dust Wave album walks that sequence, and it is being produced entirely by AI — composition, arrangement, art, all of it. Nobody is pretending that is the achievement.
It is a baseline. A floor set deliberately in public, so every composer who hears it knows exactly what the machine manages without a musician in the room.
Take any track. Write a better one. Dust Wave Studio is the vehicle — your melody, your harmony, your instinct — and Liken Studio gives whatever you write the same art, scenes and publishing the machine version already has.
Same scripture. Same production. The only variable is whether a human wrote the music.
Every Book of Mormon verse in this thread is public domain — singable word for word, no rights gate — while the Isaiah readings cite Gileadi. The album can carry the actual words.
The verse immediately before “awake and sing” is a confession, and it is brutal:
We were with child; we have been in labor, but have brought forth only wind. We have not wrought salvation in the earth.
Isaiah 26:18 · Gileadi
That is the verse the command answers. Labor that produced nothing. Effort with no salvation in it. Only then: “Awake, and sing for joy, you who abide in the dust: your dew is the dew of sunrise!”
So this is not a triumphant record about how well things are going. The waking only means something because of what comes before it — and a project that starts at the singing has skipped the part that makes the singing true.
We would rather say that on the front page than have someone notice it later.
Working now: MIDI in, rendered audio out, the score on the clock beside the waveform, and the original file kept with the take.
Being built: the editable piano roll, per-track instrument swaps, your own instrument packs, singing a lyric to your melody, and an import door for outside composition tools.
Not built yet, and we will not pretend otherwise: everything else on this page. If a tool matters to you, say so — the order is not fixed, and a real composer asking for a real thing moves it up.
That is not a marketing line. It is the reason this is being built at all — there are settings of these verses that only exist inside somebody who has not written them down yet.
Dust Wave is a working studio, not a waiting list. Bring a piece and we will see what it wants to become.
Leave your name and email and you will hear first — when the AI baseline album goes up, and when the studio tools open so you can try to beat it.
